Customer does not show after making transfer

When an agent transfers over a chat session the agent that transfers the customer cannot see the customer anymore. The customer is still there but it doesn't show it. I tried logging out and then back in and we still could not see the customer even though the other agent was still talking to the customer. This appears to be a bug.
